KEN FILLMORE

Senior Pastor

Ken grew up in the greater Truro area and has served in churches across Ontario, New Brunswick, and PEI. When he's not at church, he's visiting his kids and their families or enjoying the great outdoors in our beautiful province.​

RYAN SkALING

Associate Pastor

Ryan grew up in Nova Scotia and moved to the Truro area in 2023 with his wife Joanna and their four daughters. He served in churches in Ontario and New Brunswick and came to The Peoples Church after serving in camp ministry with One Hope Canada for 7 years. 
Ryan and his family spend much of their time working on their home and small hobby farm in Onslow Mountain.

JAKOB DUCEY

Ministry Assistant

Born and raised in Wickham, New Brunswick, Jakob attended NBBI, earning a Bachelor of Theology and has been happily serving at Peoples Church in Truro since September 2023. He and his wife Sophia welcomed their first baby in 2023 and are expecting their second in fall 2024. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and taking walks with his family in Victoria Park.

TREASURER

​Bill has attended The Peoples Church for many years. Originally from the Netherlands, he has faithfully served the church since 1977. He enjoys home cooked meals, playing bridge, and keeping up with his gardening.

SANDRA VAN DERS CHAAR

CUSTODIAN

​Sandra and her family moved to the Truro area from the Netherlands (Friesland) and began attending The Peoples Church in 2015. She loves serving the church in many different ways. She enjoys spending time in nature and with her family and greatly enjoys her grandkids.

Naomi Sante

Administrator

Naomi grew up attending the Peoples Church and, in 2013, moved with her family from Quebec back to Nova Scotia. She has loved serving in her local church over the years and is currently serving as church administrator. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and caring for their property.
